People in charge of burials or cremations can apply to be an online service provider to submit Queensland burial and cremation notifications.

By law, you must submit notification within 7 days of a burial or cremation.

This system is free and easy to use.

Approved service providers can submit:

• burial or cremation notifications
• single records or access the batch upload function.

Batch upload

This function is available and requires support from your system developer or software provider.

Please provide us with the name and contact details of your system developer or software provider by email to BDMServiceProvider@justice.qld.gov.au.

Correct a submitted death record

Request a review of a submitted death record if you have submitted a death registration or notification and find there is a mistake.
